Personal Narrative Trainer -- May 16-19 in Malaga, Spain

Submission Deadline: May 1, 2017

The Climate Strategies Accelerator (CSA) www.climatestrategiesaccelerator.org is seeking a personal narrative coach to help support a cohort of 8 global climate change leaders with breakthrough ideas for ending our dependence on oil.

The CSA is both a fund and an accelerator that identifies and supports visionary changemakers with big ideas for ending climate change. Our 2017 cohort is focused on “ending the oil age” and will be kicking off with a week-long bootcamp May 15-20 in Spain. The week will be followed by three months of intensive, remote coaching and support that culminates in an opportunity for CSA fellows to pitch their breakthrough strategy to the CSA fund in September 2017.

Who we’re looking for:

A highly engaging and inspiring internationally-focused personal narrative trainer (or team) to provide coaching for a group of professionals whose experience spans the gamut from new, emerging leaders, to highly seasoned professionals. Our ideal partner will collaboratively engage with our team to create a workshop experience that delivers high-quality skills training, creates an opportunity for the cohort to forge strong bonds with each other and a deeper sense of purpose and vision to their work, and weaves seamlessly into our bigger curriculum.  We are interested in proposals that also include continuing coaching support for the 90 days following bootcamp.

Deliverables:

  • Personal narrative training -- ideally Story of Self -- or other equally strong methodology
  • 6-10 hour workshop experience that can be delivered either in one day, or spread over the course of 3-4 days delivered between May 16-19 in Malaga, Spain.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience working with international (non-American) clientele
  • History of working with high-profile speakers, leaders, and professionals with an international platform
  • Expertise in public speaking coaching a big plus

Submission Requirements:

Applications are due Monday, May 1 and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. To apply, please submit the following to csa@engagementlab.org:

  • Brief narrative outlining relevant experience, and high-level overview of your approach to this project
  • Curriculum of your typical workshop
  • Client list
  • Video clip that gives us a sense of your approach
  • Bid for workshop delivery
  • Bid for ongoing coaching support during our 90-day acceleration sprint [optional - not required]

The Climate Strategies Accelerator is housed at the Citizen Engagement Lab (CEL), an Oakland-based launch pad for social entrepreneurs and new ideas that seek to change the world.
